Men’s Soccer Finishes in 2nd; Will Host Playoff Match

GRANTS PASS – The Rogue Community College Ospreys Men’s Soccer team was in action Wednesday October 27th hosting Clark College. The Ospreys started the day locked in second place and after an early PK was granted they rotated players as Clark would win 2-0. The Ospreys finish in second place in the South Region after earning the championship last year. They will host Bellevue College on Wednesday November 3rd in the first round of the NWAC playoffs.

Ospreys Quiet Storm with 3-1 Win

GRANTS PASS – The Rogue Community College Ospreys Volleyball team was on the road against Chemeketa Community College Saturday October 23rd. After dropping a close first set the Ospreys took control of the match and went three in a row to win 3-1 (23-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-15).

Ospreys Fight Their Way to 3-0 Win

GRANTS PASS – The Rogue Community College Ospreys Volleyball team was on the road Friday October 22nd taking on Clackamas Community College. The Ospreys were in a close battle to start the match and found a fight in each set but always settled in and cruised to a (26-24, 25-14, 25-19) win.

The Ospreys (16-7, 7-4) came out hot and pulled to steady five point lead over Clackamas (4-13, 2-9) only to allow them in close the gap late and fight to a 26-24 win. The second set was a slow start that ultimately saw the Ospreys pull ahead and stay there with a comfortable 25-14 win.

Ospreys Secure Home Playoff Game with 3-1 Win

GRANTS PASS – The Rogue Community College Ospreys Men’s Soccer team was on the road Friday October 22nd against Portland Community College. A first minute goal set the tone as the Ospreys won 3-1, securing a 2nd place finish or better and a home playoff game for only the second time in program history.

Ospreys Volleyball Wins 3-0; Men’s Soccer Falls 3-0

GRANTS PASS – The Rogue Community College Ospreys Volleyball and Men’s Soccer teams were both in action Saturday October 16th. Volleyball was on the road against Clark College and put a stop to their region losing streak as they cruised to a 3-0 (25-9, 25-21, 25-21) win. Men’s Soccer was at home against Chemeketa College and saw their unbeaten streak end as Chemeketa scored early and secured with one late to win 3-0.

Ospreys Volleyball Falls 3-1 to Saints

GRANTS PASS – The Rogue Community College Ospreys Volleyball was on the road Friday October 15th taking on Mt. Hood Community College. The Ospreys found themselves in a point-for-point battle against a stiff Saints defense falling the first two sets, taking the third, and then struggling in the fourth set to lose 3-1 (20-25, 26-28, 25-20, 9-25) on the day.

Ospreys Volleyball Cruises to 3-0 Win

GRANTS PASS – The Rogue Community College Ospreys Volleyball returned to action on Monday October 11th when they hosted College of the Siskiyous in a non-conference matchup. The Ospreys took a little while to get going but ultimately got back into their offensive flow and cruised to a 3-0 (25-18, 25-12, 25-15) win.

Ospreys Down Lane 2-1; Remain Undefeated

GRANTS PASS – The Rogue Community College Ospreys Men’s Soccer team was on the road against Lane Community College on Saturday October 9th. The Ospreys would give one up early only to equalize before the half and Jhoel Sarraude scoring the game winner in the 83rd minute to win 2-1. Sarraude’s 15th goal of the season would keep the Ospreys undefeated on the season. 

Ospreys Volleyball Match Declared No Contest

GRANTS PASS – The Rogue Community College Ospreys Volleyball team was scheduled to host Umpqua Community College on Wednesday October 6th. As a result of COVID-19 protocols the match has been declared a no contest with Umpqua being credited with a win for region ranking purposes. The match will not be rescheduled.

The Ospreys will be at home for their next scheduled match when they host College of the Siskiyou’s in a non-conference match up on Monday October 11th at 6:00pm.

Men’s Soccer Dominates in 5-1 Win; Volleyball Falls 3-0

GRANTS PASS – The Rogue Community College Ospreys Men’s Soccer and Volleyball programs were both in action Saturday October 2nd. Men’s Soccer was at home hosting Southwestern Community College. Two first half goals from Race Rome set the stage for a 3-1 second half and a 5-1 Victory on the day to remain unbeaten on the season. Volleyball was on the road against Linn-Benton Community College and fought hard in all 3 sets but ultimately fell 3-0 (21-25, 22-25, 19-25).
