Medford – The Rogue Community College Ospreys are entering their fourth season of collegiate competition this fall. The men’s and women’s soccer programs kick off the regular season of Northwest Athletic Conference play on Saturday Sep 8 on the road in Eugene, OR against the Lane Titans.
After setting new standards with a second place finish in the South Division and hosting their first ever playoff game the Ospreys men are preparing to compete for a division championship in their fourth year of competition. The program is returning four players from last year’s team, has worked to bring in a sophomore transfer, and has brought on sixteen freshman to round out the roster for this season. The men open their season against Lane in Eugene, OR on Saturday Sep 8 at 2:30. They host their home opener the following Saturday Sep 15 at 12:00 against Chemeketa Community College at U.S. Cellular Community Park field 14 in Medford.
After back-to-back years finishing one spot out of the playoffs the lady Ospreys have put together their largest roster to date and look to their fourth year as the one where they qualify for the postseason. The program is returning seven players from last year’s team and has recruited fourteen freshman to complete the roster for this season. The women open their season against Lane in Eugene, OR on Saturday Sep 8 at 12:00. They host their home opener on Wednesday Sep 12 at 1:30 against Southwestern Community College at U.S. Cellular Community Park field 14 in Medford.
