RCC Ospreys Volleyball Wins 3-0 in First Ever Home Game

MEDFORD — The Rogue Community College Ospreys Volleyball team hosted its first-ever home game Tuesday, Aug. 27 at The Court House. The first-year program started its season 6-0 at the opening tournament last weekend and kept up the streak going in a 3-0 victory against New Hope Christian College of Eugene.

The Ospreys were excited to be hosting their first-ever home game and came out with energy, winning the first set 25-17. They struggled through the second set with some miscommunication but still found victory with a 25-21 final. The Ospreys closed out the match in a back-and-forth third set that ended 25-23.

The Ospreys play in the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) in the Southern Region. They currently sit atop the standings with a 7-0 record. They are on the road for their next match when they travel to take on College of the Siskiyous Monday, Sept. 2 at 3 p.m.
