Ospreys Volleyball goes 3-1 at Crossover Tournament

MEDFORD — The Rogue Community College Ospreys volleyball program continued to have success at the weekend Crossover Tournament in Centralia, Washington. The Ospreys went 3-1 overall, dropping their first match of the year, but remain at a strong 12-1 and in first place in the NWAC South Region.

The Ospreys opened up against Centralia (6-21) and won the match 3-0. Next up, facing Southwestern Oregon (12-6) for the third time this season, the Ospreys lost their first match with a 3-1 result. The following day they played Big Bend (9-6) and won the match 3-1. They finished up against Green River (2-14) winning the match 3-0.

The Ospreys dropped their first match of the inaugural season but continue to surprise and surpass expectations as they remain in first place in the South Region with a 12-1 overall record.

The Ospreys are home for their next two matches when they host Mt. Hood Community College (9-5) at 6:30 p.m. Friday and Clark College (8-8) at 5 p.m. Saturday. Both games will take place at The Courthouse Family Fitness in Medford.
