MEDFORD — The Rogue Community College Ospreys volleyball team earned a 3-1 win on the road Friday, Sept. 27 at Clackamas Community College in Oregon City.
The Ospreys (15-1, 4-0 NWAC) came out hot against Clackamas (9-15, 1-3 NWAC) looking to gain the early advantage in the first of two road games. They did just that by winning 25-19. The second game proved to be a challenge as they were dominated and fell 10-25. The third set saw the Ospreys get back to playing form as they won the set 25-18. The Ospreys finished the match in the fourth set by winning 25-15 to win the match 3-1.
Noelani Beard led with 9 kills, Violett Togagae had 8, and Addy Lowder had 7. Setters Olivia Wallace and Bella Fudoli combined for 24 assists and Trinity Atuatasi had 25 digs.
The Ospreys next play Saturday, Sept.28 at 2:30 p.m. against Chemeketa Community College (9-17, 2-2 NWAC) in Salem. The Ospreys sit in first place in the NWAC South Region standings.
